Rainbow

Last Sept. 26, 2009 the Philippines most especially in manila and in central Luzon was devastated by a Typhoon named "Ondoy"... Many lives was taken, I believe 12 people died in Arayat because of the mudslide in San Juan BAño and that really shocked many of us. It is the first time that there was a landslide or mudslide in the mountain of Arayat.. But I know that even though satan meant it for evil, still God meant it for good because God is just trying to wake us up and He wanted to say "hey, my children you need me so please don't leave me.."

And in my case I was also devastated by a terrible typhoon in life that really broke my heart. And that happened last month, I was a victim of a criminal deception or fraud. But like a rainbow that God has promised during the time of Noah an oppotunity came to me, opportunity that I didn't even imagine to happen... Cause now I am working in a call center company which is IQOR, somebody told me that IQOR means "blood that flows in the veins of GOd" but for me IQOR is the rainbow that God has promised to me..

It was out of frustration that's why I applied in IQOR online.. and then one week after somebody phoned me from IQOR, and he said that I passed the online examination, and that call for a final interview and if I will make it, I am going to receive a job offer on my email. Then on Sept. 25, 2009...I received the offer and accepted it.. I started last Sept. 28, 2009. Now I am doing well hoping that I am gonna pass my training to become a junior agent..

I know that everything works together for good, I may not get want I want but I know that I will get what I deserve and I deserve the rainbow that God has promised me.

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside?

TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yes.

I am a victim of a Scam

Three months ago I received a mail from my uncle telling me to submit my CV to a person named Debra Lebert of CANAIES - Canada Immigration and Employment Services for me to be able to apply and work temporarily in CANADA. At first I am hesitant to do so because I know that I don't have an enough money to pay for the processing fee. But my Uncle insisted me to apply because the processing fee is cheaper than the other agencies, it is only two hundred fifty US dollars (US$ 250) and he told me that he already asked a relative from canada about the agency and that it is existing. And I tried to convince my father to help me financially in my application to Canada, and I made it, he allowed and help me in paying the processing fee.

I thought that there are no other payment aside from the processing fee but after a week they are asking for the Visa application fee which is US$150 for Canada and US$131 for US because she said that I need to under-go a training in the US for 3 months. At first I doubted so I asked her if how much will it cost me to meet all the probable payments because I need to make sure that my money is enough if I need to pay another fees in the future.

Then she said that "CANAIES is not trying to exploit you, the $281US dollars must go to the immigration department here while the earlier amount serve as your mandatory registration fee and CANAIES will not request further amount from you."

So that was the explanation I gave to my father and then He again gave me US$281 for that. Then few days ago an email came to me that their website was a victim of Cyber-hyjacker, so I felt bad about that but then the problem was fixed after a week or two.

And then lastly they are asking another payment and that is for the Postage and Authentication Stamps fee which is US$516, because they are going to send three parcels, one for the US embassy, one for the Canadian embassy and one for myself, so each parcel will cost me US$172. And that made my father really mad, and I was disgusted because I don't want to give up on that. I think my father pittied on me so he again gave me the money.

I was happy when I receive a mail from Debra Lebert and she said, Your address is noted. In receipt of your postage/authentication stamps fee and CANAIES official payment slip; we are told that your work permits/entry visas documents will be dispatch on the 20th August, 2009. Updates and details of your traveling parcel will be communicated to you as soon as possible." so it feels like heaven that I am close to my dream.

But on August 20, 2009 I received no email from them so I am worried and I kept on sending mails to Debra Lebert but she is silent. And I asked the asia-africa zonal officer which is Mario Hewitt, then he responsed, "We have received your mail and complaints forwarded to CANAIES headquarter. The response was that, your parcel will finally be dispatch on Monday 31st August, 2009. The delay was due to procurement of necessary documents. You will not be disappointed; Debra Lebert may be too occupied to reach as earlier expected."

So again I wait for another 10 days and on Sept. 1, 2009 I received a mail from another person which is Ruth Rendell she said, "Congratulations, your entry visas/work permit seal sticker, airline tickets and other documents is package and sent today being August 31st, 2009. It will reach your destination in 3-4days as express postage." So that really cheers me up.

But.. four days after an email broke my excitement, Debra Lebert's bad news, "Late yesterday, we received a telex from UK SPECIAL SQUAD ON COURIER SERVICES that your traveling package is on hold in the United Kingdom.
The parcel content is scanned while changing courier from TransCanada to DHL, UK, and it was found that we sent your entry visa seal stickers.
They needed to verify CANAIES as an organization on some issues regarding the new UK courier service security check. It is also said that you must clear yourself from any terrorist/Al-Qaeda intentions from the office. "

Huuuuwhat?????? Is this true? So I email Mr. Carl York telling him that I am the receiver of the parcel from CANAIES and that I am not with any terrorist and they responsed to me asking some personal information like my birthplace and schools attended. I see no bad intention about that so I answered all their questions. But then another mail came to me from Mr. Carl YOrk, "


He is asking me to deposit a 500 Great British Pounds because I need to be cleared in 3 months and if I am innocent they will give my money back through the bank account that I'll be giving them.. I was dismayed. That is unbelievable.. So I asked for another option for me to clear myself but he answered me that it is the only way and that I need to comply immediately. Then I asked for conditions before I can possibly pay is to send me copy of all my travelling documents including some information regarding their department for me to be able to know that they are legitimate and existing. But they did'nt reply and that really drives me crazy. So I emailed Canaies but they did'nt give me any kind of support, they want me do what UKSSCS is asking..

Now, I am sure to myself that I am a victim of a scam and I feel betrayed by an uncle whom I trusted. I learned an important lesson, "verify before you comply"... Animal Cruelty

Let's call her Muning but actually wala siyang particular na pangalan. Muning is given by my Auntie Helen last year because we don't have a cat during that time to hunt mices or rats.. She's often called "pussaaaaa" or "heeeeeeh" especially when she did something bad, like eating our foods and getting inside the house. This cat loves meat instead of fish bones (so baligtad siya). She loves to stay on our table when we're eating and I really hate that. Honestly I don't like her like my Lola does, kase she's makulit, ayaw magpabawal, sobrang takaw pa niya. My Lola keeps on spoiling her by giving foods to her even though we are not yet done eating. She eats beside my Lola most of the time. And that makes me really mad at her, not to my Lola but to Muning.

Until last week, while cooking food for lunch and there she was, she keeps on smelling the food and tried to grab some and eat some..I call her attention but she ignore me and to my surprise I spanked her head.

And then few hours ago I saw her lying on the a sofa with some dirty clothes of Mama, I was disgusted but when I tried to give her another spank I saw some blood on my mom's clothes and when I grabbed Muning, there was a tiny being on the clothes and I also noticed the blood behind muning. So I found out that Muning is fragnant and that I was the cause of her miscarriage.

I am guilty to what happened to her though I know that I was not that cruel but I felt responsible to her miscarriage. I am very sorry to the innocent baby cat who died because of my anger. So I learn my lesson not to be cruel to animals no matter how naughty they are. Love them and they will love you back.

The Monster Phoned Me

Sept. 4, 2009 - the monster phoned me because she received my complaints through the contact department of RCBC.. Prior to this I have sent a complaints to them the day after my great encouter with the RCBC monster, that was on thursday. I just tried to voice out my feelings about the unnecessary behavior of that woman but I am not certain if they will going to take an action, until I received a voice call from an anonymous landphone number last night at around 7 o'clock in the evening.

We talked for like 15 minutes, and she introduced herself first, "c fedelie samson na ba ito?, i answered, "opo, sino to?" she replied, "ako si ****** ng RCBC at nareceive ko yung complaints mo, at nasabi ko na din ung side ko sa contact department. Sinasabi mo dun na yung kausap ko ay hindi client, oo tama ka na kumpare ko siya pero client ko din 'yun. Galing siya sa Greece" and I've said, " Opo pero nagkukwentuhan nalang kayo di'ba?" and she replied sarcastically, "alam mo 23 years na 'ko sa bangko, tao lang ako, madami kaming trabaho, bat di mo ko tinanong?" i've said, "ako po kasi pag pumupunta ako sa bangko, minsan yung guard talaga nilalapitan ko (esp. kung bz yung nag-aasist) kc alam ko po na may alam din naman sila." she said, "sana sa 'kin ka nalang nagtanong o kaya kay ****** (yung sa kabilang table). I've said, "di po ba my client din yun?" she said, " di ko lang nagustuhan yung nagpin-point ka. Nakita kita tinuturo mo ako", I've replied, "opo, pero hindi naman ako galit nung tinuturo kita, kahit itanong niyo man dun sa guard." She replied, "siyempre hindi ka naman niya nakikita." I said, "kung ikaw nga nakikita mo ko, siya pa kaya? eh siya mismo kausap ko?"

Then she changed the topic, "tsaka malay ko na mag-oopen kayo e nandun kayo sa side. I've said, "hinde, pagdating namin dun umupo nanay ko dun tapat niyo, pero di niyo siya pinansin, kaya yun lumipat ng upuan, tumabi sa 'kin, atsaka po pala 'bat nung lumabas ako at kinausap ko yung guard bat nakita niyo ako?", (samantalang mama ko di napansin nung umupo sa chair malapit sa desk niya). She replied, "kasi nung lumabas ka may kausap ako sa phone, napatingin ako sa'yo, nakita ko pa na tinuro mo moko, galit ka kaya sa guard ka nag-tanong eh.." I've said, "kung galit po ako di sana niyaya ko na nanay ko na lumabas, pero hindi, bumalik pa ako sa loob tapos nag-antay pa kami." She said, "sana nagsabi kayo agad na mag-oopen kayo ng account, hindi yong inaantay niyo pa na tanungin ko kayo." I am almost laughing, "ang alam ko po kasi sa ibang banko, pag umupo ka sa may desk nung nag-aasist, siya na mismo magtatanong, yun ngang nilipatan namin bangko di ko na po sasabihin kung saan, ganun yung ginawa eh... kahit may naunang client sa amin, habang nagpi-fill up ung una, inentertain na kami kaagad." (atsaka magmumukha kaming bastos kung magiinterupt kami ng mayasang kwentuhan nila ng kumpare niya di'ba?)

She go back to the main topic, "sinabi mo pa dun na baka gawin ko sa iba yung ginawa ko sa'yo, alam mo hindi ako ganong klaseng tao, kahit ipag-tanong mo man ako dun, I've answered, "ay wala na po akong time na ipag-tanong ko pa kayo at wala na po akong balak bumalik sa bangko ninyo, she replied unconciously, "hindi naman kita pinapabalik sa bangko namin, alam mo 23 years na'ko sa bangko, at matanda ako sa'yo." (pinamumukha niya na matanda na siya) I've said, "alam ko po'ng matanda ka'yo sa'kin, kaya nga nag-papapo pa nga ako sayo di ba? nadulas siya, "kasi nga ma'm". natawa nanaman ako, " o bat po ngayon tinawag niyo akong ma'm samantalang dun hindi. sabi niya, "ah gusto mo tawagin kang ma'm?" natawa nanaman akong lalo, "o bat po ngayon lang tinawag niyo akong ma'm?." di na alam sasabihin niya, and I said, " alam niyo po kung hindi lang kayo nagsalita, wala sanang problema, wala naman sa kin kahit hindi niyo pinansin ang nanay ko, kaso pinahiya niyo ako eh? Sinabi mo na kapag pumasok ako sa isang bangko at may kausap ang isang tao, ibig sabihin client yun, parang ginawa niyo akong tanga, kahit papano may mga taong nakakarinig non." Wala siyang alam isagot kundi yung, "kase tinuturo mo ako na parang galit ka, bat mo nasabi na gagawin ko sa iba yun?" sabi ko, "ah ayaw niyo yung nagdi-jump into conclusion samantalang kayo ganun kayo."

It is a long conversation, many times paulit-ulit nalang sinasabi niya, but eventually humingi na din siya ng pasensiya. But I was not convicted to say "pasensiya din", coz i know wala akong ginawang male... di'ba?

RCBC Savings Bank Scandal

Sept. 2, 2009 - it happened in RCBC Robinson’s Pampanga Branch. Me and my mom are supposed to open a new acount with RCBC but because of the woman who should be the one to assist us embarassed me and made me feel uncomfortable with the bank.
This is what happened, upon entering at the bank the security asked me and I’ve said “mag-oopen po kami ng account”, and he assisted me and my mom to the woman on the center. The woman is talking to a big guy wearing shorts and I believe that they are talking casually. I was thinking that if the guy is not a client, maybe he is an important person because he is well-entertained by the woman. My mom sitted on the chair next to the guy but the woman simply ignore her. It is okey because I thought the guy and the woman have an important agenda.
And then my mom was bored because like I’ve said the woman didn’t even ask her or anything. So she left them and sitted next to me. And I’ve decided to ask the security outside the bank, “kuya guard ano po yung mga requirements kapag mag-oopen ng bagong account?” and he answered, “two valid IDs lang po.”. And I asked him again while pointing to the woman, “yun po ba talaga yung kakausapin namin?” and he said, “opo”. and then I asked him, “sino po yung kausap niya?” I am pertaining to the guy who is infront of her desk because at that time the woman is already talking to another person over the phone. The security answered, “client po ‘yun.”. So I went inside and told mom about the requirements.
And suddendly the woman talk in high pitch. “Miss ano yung kailangan mo? Bakit mo ko tinuturo kanina? Parang galit ka yata sa’kin?”. I was shocked and I didn’t even know that I am the person that she is talking with. So I looked unto her and I knew na ako nga ang kinakausap niya. I asked her, “Bakit po?”. She repeatedly told me, “Bakit mo ko tinuturo kanina? Galit ka ba sa’kin?” and she added, “Alam mo miss kapag pumasok ka sa isang bangko at may kausap yung tao ibig sabihin client ‘yun.” She even made me feel na parang ang tanga-tanga ko. So I answered, “ay namis-interpret niyo lang po, bakit po ako magagalit sa inyo? Lumabas lang po ako kanina para itanong sa guard kung ano ang requirements sa pagoopen ng account kase baka kulang pala requirements namin tapos nagaantay kami dito, sayang lang oras namin.” and then she said, ” tinatanong mo daw kung sino kausap ko? anyway wala na yun, magoopen ka ba ng account?” I simply answered, hindi po ako yung nanay ko po.” then she asked, “anong account?” si mama ang sumagot, “Savings.”. Then the woman asked a boy to give us the forms to be filled up. So since the boy is the one who gave us the form, I asked him, “mag-kano initial deposit?” and it happened na kulang yung pera to open a passbook account which is ten thousand, and since we know that dad is will not agree if we will open an ATM account which is cheaper we’ve decided to ask him first, so my mom told the guy, “tatanong ko muna sa mister ko kung papayag siya na mag-ATM nalang.” so lumabas na kami, then since my mom is arguing me kung bakit nagalit yung babae sa’kin kinausap namin yung guard. “kuya guard diba nagtanong lang ako kanina ng requirements? Galit ba ako kanina?” the security answered, “hindi.” then “Galit siya kasi tinuturo ko daw siya kanina, di ba tinanong ko lang kung siya ba talaga yung kakausapin namin?” the guard answered, “oo”. And I asked him, “kuya pakisabi dun sa boss mo na namisinterpret niya lang yung ginawa ko.”.
I am not really mad because I might have a fault kase tinuro ko siya. But I found out that the guy is not a client nor an important person. Narinig daw ni mama yung pag-uusap nila and the guy is like a “balik-bayan”. Sabi daw nung guy, “mare, pasensiya na yun lang napasalubong ko.” the woman answered, “naku pare matutuwa na si kumpare mo dun.” And they are talking about the life abroad. I believe that in any company one of the prohibited things to do is to receive visitors especially in your working hours. So nung nakwento ni mama yun, lalo akong nainis sa babae, siya na nga yung nagpepetix, siya pa may ganang magalit.
I lost my respect not to the company but to the woman itself. Hindi ako makapaniwala na may mga taong gano’n. Ang masasabi ko lang sayo, “Guilty ka!” And because of what she did to us, my dad got angry and he decided to choose another bank. Poor RCBC Robinson’s Pampanga because you have like a monster on you company right now.

The Butterfly

Butterflies are the adult flying stage of certain insects belonging to an order or group called Lepidoptera. Moths also belong to this group. The word "Lepidoptera" means "scaly wings" in Greek.
